Worldbuilding VisualsYuki Nobuteru
Q1. What did you focus on when creating the worldbuilding visuals?
I was tasked with drawing in my older, classic style, which was a rather difficult task. (laugh) How did I do?
On the other hand, because I don't draw in this style much anymore, it was a lot of fun to revisit.
Q2. What are some of your favorite things about Trinity Trigger?
It's been a long time since I worked with Kikuta-san's music on Trials of Mana. Many of the developers are fans of the Mana series, so I hope that players who love those games will give Trinity Trigger a try.
Character DesignRaita Kazama
Q1. What did you focus on when designing the characters?
I aimed to create relatable designs that players could also look up to. I also wanted to create classic, RPG-style designs with a hand-drawn touch.
Q2. Please share with us a behind-the-scenes story from development.
I was given near-complete freedom during the design process, so I basically drew whatever I wanted without stress. When I received the scenario, I considered the kinds of characters that would inhabit this world, and then I drew as I pleased!
3. What are some of your favorite things about Trinity Trigger?
The story is rich and full of mysteries... Don't miss the fully-voiced dialogue between characters as they unravel Trinitia's secrets! I drew a lot of Trinity Trigger's cast, so I hope you'll enjoy meeting them all!
ScenarioYura Kubota
Q1. What did you focus on when creating the scenario?
It was important to me that three protagonists, who start out as total strangers, gradually grow closer as friends over the course of their adventure.
They get to know all sorts of other unique personalities throughout their travels as well, so please keep an eye out for those.
Q2. Please share with us a behind-the-scenes story from development.
As development progressed, the setting and other aspects of the world would receive feedback from production staff. New functions were constantly being added to the game, which was a little nerve-wracking at times. I guess it just goes to show how passionate the dev team is about games. (laughs)
Q3. What are some of your favorite things about Trinity Trigger?
Naturally, the main scenario is the main attraction. However, there are also a ton of sub-quests that dig deeper into the characters and the world's lore. I hope you enjoy those as well.
MusicHiroki Kikuta
Q1. What did you focus on when composing the music?
To compose for a game, especially for an RPG, is to express the world's atmosphere—or perhaps its very essence—musically. Even without any kind of explanation or context, we can keenly imagine the emotion of a certain scene or setting the moment we hear its music. It is no exaggeration to say that the job of a game composer such as myself is fully focused on that one thing.
Q2. Please share with us a behind-the-scenes story from development.
In order to fully capture the world of Trinity Trigger, which expanded more and more as development progressed, I had to draw on all sorts of musical knowledge stored in my head. Of course, my decades of experience and training prepared me for this, but it was a challenge I relished as a composer, as there are few opportunities outside of RPGs where I can fully utilize all I've learned over the years.
Q3. What are some of your favorite things about Trinity Trigger?
Throughout the adventure, there are moments of passion, uncertainty, and even miracles of rebirth. My hope with Trinity Trigger was to make the player's journey deeply memorable by composing in step with the story's twists and turns. If, at journey's end, a few melodies linger in the players' hearts, then I can be proud of my work.

Q1. What did you focus on when designing the Triggers?
I tried to design Flamme to be perfectly huggable—the kind of cute, reliable partner you could squeeze whenever you’re feeling lonely.
Q2: Please share with us a behind-the-scenes story from development.
To add to the fantastical feel, we changed the color of Flamme's flames from red to blue.
I also thought it would be fun for the game to have a slime monster that looked good enough to eat, so I submitted a rough proposal, and they accepted my design! (laughs)
Q3: What are some of your favorite things about Trinity Trigger?
There are a ton of fun characters who appear in the story, so keep an eye out! (Silver hair is the best...!)

Q1. What did you focus on when developing Trinity Trigger?
<Project Planners>
We tried to highlight the theme of discovery. Through trial and error, we ensured that treasure chests, gimmicks, and bosses' weaknesses were satisfying to discover. We hope players will take time searching for them.
<Programmers>
We wanted to create something we ourselves thought was fun, so we made sure the game's tools were smooth and easy to use.
Trinity Trigger is jam-packed with fun features that our team members envisioned.
<Designers>
We created character models to bring out Kazama-san's style, then matched animations and effects to each character's particular personality. We also created backgrounds to capture the atmosphere of Trinitia's various regions. I think we were able to bring Mr. Kazama's illustrations to life. Please take time to enjoy them to the fullest!
Q2. Please share with us a behind-the-scenes story from development.
We had many ambitious plans in the development stage, resulting in a tremendous amount of work for us to do. Putting everything together was a real struggle.
Q3. What are some of your favorite things about Trinity Trigger?
The joy of finding things scattered in various places.
